Q: How do you make a personalized ornament with stick on lettering stay permanet.?
I bought 4 many years ago at a keosk at the mall. Broke one and have not been able to find a replacement over the past 2 holidays. Just a large glass bulb with each childs name and snow flakes. Appears to be some heat type setting lettering. They had then ready in an hour. Would like to replace the one I broke or make one myself. Have bought stick on letters but they don't look the same.
A: The letters are often put on by etching. Usually around Christmas time the malls have little hallway shops that specialize in etching.

Q: Anybody know where i can get round personalized tree ornaments without a minimum order?
I found a few websites but they either didn't deliver to canada (that is where i live) or i had to buy a minimun of 40 or 100. All i need is a few, can anyone help me, please?
A: FedEx Kinko's makes personalized ornaments.
I know because I work there.
lol
Though we usually make ones that have photos in them, y'know?
A picture of Grandma and the Kids...
Q: Where can I go to have something personalized with ink?
I have a round ceramic ornament that I would like personalized with a name. I want it done with ink, not engraving. What kind of stores (or chains) do that?
A: Ohh,,, I was thinking maybe by someone who does ceramics near you...that way....it could be permanent
Q: Is there a store online that will create my own ornament for a fish tank?
I got one of my bosses for the Secret Santa and I'm not sure what to get him...but then I know he loves fish and has about 4 tanks in his office...I think it would be awesome if I can give him a personalized ornament for his fish tank...what I was thinking was the actual company's logo...I was wondering if there was an online store that I could send them a picture of the logo and they could turn that into a fish tank ornament...do you think it is possible or does anyone know of any store?
For anyone reading this...if you could give me ideas of what a good gift would be for a fish lover (without spending too much money)...I just want to get him something different...thanks in advance :)
His fish are freshwater but I don't know what kind exactly (he has four different tanks with many different, beautiful fish...all sizes and shapes)...he also already has beautiful ornaments in his tanks so that is why I was thinking of trying to get one personalized with his company's logo to be different...
as to the size of the tank...I would like to get this for his biggest tank, which I am assuming is 100 gallons or so (I always joked that I could give my 3-year-old a bath in it it's so big LOL) so maybe that could help picture the size of the tank...
I really was hoping there was an online store I could just send them a picture and they could make it into an ornament for the tank...
A: Not sure about any on-line place that personalizes aquarium decor, but if you would, could you add what type of fish he has, how big the tanks are, and if they are saltwater or fresh. It would make it easier to tell you what to get him.
Edit: Ok well this is a very difficult thing being that I can not find a single company that will personalize aquarium decorations. My thought was maybe to try to make one, this would take a lot of creativity on your part. You would have to get a suitable type decoration (one with a flat spot on it to put a company logo), even a rock may work as long as the rock was clean and able to go in his tank. Get the logo printed onto a piece of plastic (you may be able to go to a local sign maker and see if they can do this for you) make sure that it is all non-toxic. Make the plastic like a little plaque then mount it to the rock or ordament you choose, you can attach it with silicone that is made for aquariums (you can find it at the pet store). This would be quite a task if you could pull it off, but if you could you could start your own buissness, I'd send you costomers (since there is no competition)LOL. As far as just sending the logo to a company to do this for you, the only thing I could think of is to call a company that handcrafts it's decorations, tell them your idea and see if they may be able to help you. I'll leave you a link to a good company to check out. If I think of anything else I'll e-mail you, sorry this might not be much help.
Link to company that personalizes pet stuff and makes aquarium decorations, see if they can do both, I tryed getting to their page from this link and can't do it, you may have to call the number.

I tried to post another link too but it won't let me for some reason, I sent it to you in the e-mail though.
Q: what are the lawn ornament...?
what are the lawn ornaments called that people always personalize for birthdays and stuff... they are usually animals or cartoon characters... links or what they're called would be great! thanks in advance!!! =)
A: I'm assuming you're not referring to the "seasonal banners" (flags) that have become so popular and that you mean the small statues that are ususally made of ceramic. I believe they're called "lawn ornaments" or "yard ornaments" as you have already described them. They can be found in garden and hardware stores if you're looking for them.
Q: Help! I need some ideas for a catchy name for my new store.?
I live in a small town full of spirit. I am opening a store filled with goodies and specialties. Here is a few items: Jazzy Jars, Handmade wooden chests & wooded stools(personalized), skin products: facial cremes, lotions, lip balm ect., homemade cards, candels, candies, gift sets, seasonal gifts: ornaments (personalized)
town mascott items and town spirit items such as blankets, shirts and sweaters...
i also have a miniture bulldog and she will be my store mascott since we are the town of bulldogs! I wasnt sure if 'tale of the pup' would be a good one?
A: The Woodpecker's Hole
Q: Does anyone know where I can find online, Personalized Harley Davidson Christmas ornaments?
A: Hope u like what i looked into
Q: Gifts for Employees?? What do you want to receive this year?
We already are doing the following:
- Christmas Party in early December(dinner theater comedy show, guest invited)
- Cash bonus
- $20 Gift card for their favorite grocery store (in lieu of turkeys, we don't get a great response when we give turkeys anymore)
- Hallmark ornament customized to their personal hobbies
- Custom snowman wall plaque (www.familysigns.com)
- Rainy Day Fund jar with a $50 gift card inside to their favorite store
- Continental Breakfast on 12/22
Not sure what else to give them. We always give gift baskets full of something. One year it was a breakfast theme with about $100 worth of stuff in it and a gift card. One year we did digital cameras. We thought this year we'd do 5-6 gifts around $10-20 each for each employee and hand them out one at a time (sort of "santa" style) under the tree. We only have 8 employees so it is managable.
Any ideas? We want to keep it personalized & useful for everyone - most employees are in their 40s or 50s.
A: Hohoho :)
A few ideas:
*Chocolates
*Wine/spirit bottles
*Theater tickets
*Annual subscription to their favorite magazine
*Books related to the subject they like

Q: Do you like the holiday story I wrote?
I'm in 9th grade and my English teacher had us write a short holiday story.
What should I title it?
Do you like the story, the writing style?
Cold water soaked her right ankle and oozed quickly down into her favorite shoes, a pair of beaten up converse. “Damnit!” she yelled, though over the loud, pouring rain, her family couldn’t hear her, as they scrambled to get into the silver SUV. They had just started their holiday shopping at the mall for the distant relatives. It was cold, wet, and miserable. Winter. Turning on the radio, her dad hoped to put everyone in a little bit better mood, but the over sung Christmas song by some unknown female pop star looking to cash in on the commercialized holiday put Noel Riga in an even worse mood.
She hated everything about the holiday season. She hated the mindless materialism, the hypocrisy of it all, the crowded malls, the terrible music, and everyone looking for a tip. But most of all, Noel despised that it was a family holiday and that her relatives felt obligated to come over. A fight would always break out, like last year, when her grandma screamed in broken English that she was leaving, and never wanted to see her unappreciative family ever again. The annual holiday party her mom hosted was yet another catastrophe, because her mom’s opinion on clean could rival that of an operating room or a five-star hotel. But Noel couldn’t just help dust and vacuum, she had to do it all while being yelled at at an excruciatingly loud decibel by her mother. It was awful.
And yet another quip of hers was her name. Noel!? There really couldn’t have been a worse name for a Scrooge like herself. She considered going by her middle name for a while, but Carol wasn’t much better.
So, as her calendar got more and more X’s on the month of December, Noel found herself dreading the holiday season more than usual. She wished with a snap she could make it January 2nd, and forget about the horrid holiday’s altogether.
It was her family’s tradition to make their wish lists on December 15th, exactly ten days before the big day. She scoffed at her brother’s list, which was frightfully long and detailed¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬: “#16. Slip on vans, blue with black trim, size 13. Check online.” She pondered what to put on her list. She had pretty much everything she needed or wanted, and the few things she needed or wanted already, and the couple small things she desired could be bought with the money given to her by an aunt or uncle who wouldn’t dare getting a more personalized gift, lest he or she get the wrong thing.
So Noel’s list contained only one item- a drama-free, happy Christmas and Hanukkah celebration. That was all. Unfortunately, she knew her twin brother was more likely to get everything on his long list, which was now being continued on the back of college-ruled notebook paper. She had little hop or faith in her family. “How are we supposed to get you that?” they asked.
Noel sighed. Looks like another crappy December.
But she had spoken too soon. Her mother had informed her that she would be forgoing the holiday party. The relatives came, and went for a walk any time the tension became uncomfortable. The Riga’s even agreed to not play holiday music, unless it was a true classic.
Noel helped her mom put all the old keepsake ornaments in the tree while eating homemade gingerbread cookies, the whole time wearing a (gasp!) Santa hat. And for the first time in her 14 year life, she was proud of her name: Noel Carol Riga.
A: It's good.
Call it 'One Christmas Wish'

Q: Crafty Christmas ideas......?
I have a 10 and a 6 year old who love making special gifts for Christmas. I have not been able to come up with that "perfect" craft for this year. Grandparents, aunts, and uncles all have everything they need and want and there is just no reason for us to spend money on some trinket that will be forgotten and collect dust.
We have made.........flower pots with hand/footprints, candy, homemade cocoa with chocolate covered spoons, ornaments, picture frames, plates with pictures, personalize coasters, jewelry and a few others I am forgetting right now.
If you have an idea of a Christmas craft that your family enjoys making, I would love for you to share.
Please give me your best Christmas craft ideas! Thanks!!!!
A: we make chocolate suckers. you can buy the stuff in the craft section at walmart or any craft section. my kids love to do this. you can add flavored oils to them to flavor them, get different colored chocolates, all sorts of things. i make coffee spoons by waiting till the chocolate thickens then dipping gold colored plastic spoons in it. great in hot milk.
