Q: If Im making gift baskets with fudge in it how long will it last?
Im making different fudges and chocolate covered pretzels ect for gift baskets for family , how long wil the stuff stay good? When should I start making it if Im handin them out on Christmas and the day after

A: If you are using heavy cream in your fudge then it won't last as long without being kept cold. If you are using the marshmallow creme method then if you complete the fudge at room temp. then it will keep for a couple of weeks. If it lasts that long. I am also giving fudge and I started it today which I will be giving on Christmas day. Hope your fudge comes out great. Everyone will love the gift.

Q: Who hates those gift baskets that are all looks and nothing really good inside?
These giant gift baskets that are all stuffed with fancy shredded paper, foam inserts and gilded ribbons. Yet the food in them is pure crap. Stale crakcers, boring cookies, some cheese and salami that is rubbery and tasteless. Yet they charge hundreds of dollars for these things. Rip Off!!!!!!

A: I know what you mean, I have gotten and even been guilty of giving these types of baskets. I did get a great gift basket one time and I made sure to find out what company it was from. It was Baskets Beautiful, Inc they have been my resource for gift baskets ever since. You should definitely check them out.

Q: How do I send gift baskets to other tribes in Spore?
Hi, I know how to receive gift baskets, I just don't know how to send them :S The game keep telling me to send a gift basket to another tribe to please them or something ^^

A: 1. Make sure you are in Social Mode. 2. Move your screen to the village you want to send the gift to. 3. Select one (or more) of your creatures from the right hand side of the screen. 4. Right click the target villages food storage. You should see an icon of a green gift box. 5. Your creature(s) will then take a gift of food to the village. Gifting is good for getting a village from any kind of hate or dislike to at least neutral. I haven't tried gifting a neutral village to see if it lifts higher, but I'm betting it takes direct social charming to get the village to ally.

Q: Would anyone be willing to pay for custom made gift baskets?
I enjoy making gift baskets and I was considering making flyers and posting them throughout chicago (where I live). I would like to have a couple premade for holidays. But I mostly would like to make them at the customers request with thier opinions on how they would like it. Do you think it would work as something extra to do?

A: I think that's a great idea. You can even sell those on the internet and start your own home based business. I live in Chicago too and I know a lot of people here who would like something like that. I think you should give it a try. I honestly think you'll have a successful business doing that.

A: I have purchased gift baskets at this site before, http://www.bisketbaskets.com. They have a really nice assortment. I would get her something practical that you know she will be able to use. Q: Who is making their own gift baskets this year?
I started it to save money (you can buy more stuff for the money than what comes in those pre-made gift sets) but I'm really getting into it! You can make them much more personal too. For my dad I am making a basket with barbeque sauces and for my brother I am making one with movies and popcorn and I even found some of those movie box candies at wal mart (only 97 cents each!) and a big popcorn bowl to put it in.

A: I love to do this too. You're right its so much more personal than the premade baskets are. I have done many baskets so I'll just name a few. Pasta Dinner: 1. Big bowl (used as basket) 2. Box of pasta 3. 2 Jars of sauce 4. Parmesan cheese (in the shaker) 5. A wooden spoon 6. A pair of tongs 7. A dish towel Snow Day: (Always fun for kids) 1. A big coffee mug 2. Sudoko or crossword books 3. A puzzle 4. Hot cocoa or apple cider mix 5. Cookies 6. A movie 7. A scarf and gloves Chocolate lover: 1. Hot cocoa 2. Coffee mug or travel mug 3. Chocolates 4. Chocolate covered nuts 5. Chocolate covered pretzels 6. A chocolate scented candle 7. Chocolate scented lotion/ bubble bath Bookworm: 1. A set of original books (Pride and Prejudice, The Secret Garden, The Chronicles of Narnia, Tarzan of the Apes, etc.) 2. A tea cup 3. Tea bags 4. A fancy book mark 5. A reading light 6. Gift card to Barnes and Noble Romantic Evening 1. 2 wine glasses 2. A bottle of wine 3. Chocolates 3. Crackers 4. Cheese 5. A romantic movie (I like classics myself) Hope this helps!

I want a gift basket for my redneck father. Any suggestions?

A: Wal-Mart

I am going to do business online making gift baskets etc. I would like to include wine and beer as well as premade snacks, does anyone know if I will need a liquor license?

A: If you're selling it, my guess would be yes.
