Q: Where could I find good home decorations for a good price ?
Where could I find good home decorations for a good price ?

A: Depending on where you are, there are all kinds of options. I am currently remodeling a small house with a very small budget, and these are some of the things I have discovered... if there is a Super Target nearby, check out their $1.00 section. Occassionally you can find prints that look very nice when framed. Check out 2nd hand stores, antique stores, and flea markets. You can find some very unusual things there. Think creatively - things that were not originally intended as wall hangings look great hanging on your walls such as old utensils in the kitchen (you can even make mobiles from old silverware). Check out Dollar Stores. I made kitchen curtains from picture hanging wire and $1 t-towels from Dollar Tree. Browse hobby stores like Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Pieces of interesting fabrics look cool in frames or hung from dowel rods. I have also found some great things browsing the clearance items at Pier 1, World Market, Pottery Barn or Crate & Barrel. A little PhotoShop-ing on your own snapshots can look really cool and dramatic on the walls depending on the frames, etc. The important thing is to think outside the box and have a great time doing it!

Q: Where can I find home decorations with a Japanese style?
I'm moving into a new apartment and would like to pull together a light Japanese theme around mostly contemporary styles. I've looked around online and can't find anything which might provide what I'm looking for. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for this type of home decoration? Ikea has nice furniture and while I've already selected my bed from there, there isn't much in the way of Japanese styles. Also, I'm not on the West Coast so that does me little good.

A: Much of the decor from the Arts & Crafts themes have a Japanese style. It's a straight line design with no frills. The wood is often cherry or teak. It's quite beautiful in its simplicity. Good luck!

Q: how can i get customers to buy home decorations?
i need help to get new customers to buy home decorations from me and i'm will to give a 15% off on the first order

A: There are an almost infinite number of ways to do this. Essentially, you need to identify who your target market(s) are. In your case, people that have just bought a house could be a good target. Once you have identified the best target(s), you need to find the best way to let them know that you exist. If you wanted to advertise directly to recent home buyers, then it would be worth talking to your local real estate agents. Pehaps you could offer them a small commission out of the 15% discount. Of course, the Internet now provides an excellent medium to attract customers from wide and far. In this case you would need to establish a Web site and use the many resources available to market that site to your target(s). It is difficult to provide a large amount of information in this forum, but the bottom line is that you need to have a marketing plan that will provide you with the answers. All the best with it! Q: What are your favorite home decorations on the market today?
Are there any home decor products that stand out above the rest? If you can name a few, what would they be? What are some of your favorites?

A: I love the plastic composite ceiling medallions. You can paint them to resemble gold leaf, rust, patina, copper or stone. They really make a focal point out of ordinary ceiling fans and they are inexpensive. I'm also a big fan of wrought iron, particularly when it is used in mixed media applications like with wood or wicker. You cannot go wrong with natural stones. I love the variations in marble, limestone, granite and travertine. They are classic. In terms of manufacturers, I go for quality like Thomasville, Drexel Heritage, Hooker and even Restoration Hardware. There is a great catalog called Home Decorators which has unique, yet inexpensive, quality items.

Q: home decorations?

You will get the best answer from me!!!!

A: Did you try calling JC Penny to see if they have it at any of their stores? Sometimes stores will check others in order to satisfy the customer. I also tried to find the shelves on line for you and drew a blank. I found leaning ladder shelves in lakesidecollections.com but that was the best I could do sorry and I do hope you find your selves, I know what it is like to get an idea into your head and then not be able to fine what you want!

Q: Cheap decorations for the home?
I need a website or store for cheap home decorations and furniture....also toys, and school supplies or cheap design ideas for my new home

A: I'm in the home remodeling industry and do real estate investments and staging/decorating as well. I get most of my decorative accents from stores like.. Big Lots, Job-Lots,Ocean State Job Lot, Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Target, Walmart. These store have really cheap prices on clearance goods that look great and nobody would ever know or believe what you paid for them. They all have furniture pieces, and all sell school supplies and toys, except Home Goods. Here are some tips below... Interior Designer Tip/Trick #1 Always display items on a shelf or on a table in odd numbers only. Ex: One large item alone, sets of three, Sets of five, sets of seven, nine, etc. Adds greater visual appeal, interest, and impact. Interior Design Tip/Trick #2 Besides the usage of paint to introduce color into a room, try brighter colored throw pillows and rugs.(very inexpensive visual effect.) Tip #3 Add Glass and/or mirrors to a room to make it appear larger and brighter. Glass bounces light and gives the illusion of a larger room. Tip #4 Create your own artwork..most dollar stores always carry frames in a multitude of colors. At $1.00 each (10x11) or (12 x10) buiy sevral of them with matching frames, so you can use your computer to download images and print to put it them, also use matching left over fabric to put in them, cut out left over matching border or wallpaper an insert into frames, or scan pictures out of books and magazines. When hanging pictures always hang in pairings of even numbers. Ex: two side by side, 4, (two on top, two on bottom) 6 three on top, three on the bottom) 8 (four on top, four on the bottom). Last tip... Use inexpensive square or rectangular baskets all same color to store clutter. Hope this helps! :0)

Q: Where can I find these cool home decorations?
My dad wants to repaint the room my sister and I share, so we decided to just give it a makeover. I need a store or website that sells funky lamps, rugs, chairs and quilts. I need them to be like I said funky and not expensive. Thanx! Oh, and do you think incents re a good idea for a 12 yr old and 8 yr old's room?

A: I would try either http://www.overstock.com/ , http://www.ikea.com/ , or http://www.target.com/ . I think incents might be OK for a 12 year old. But the 8 year old might, like try to eat them or something.

A: Imagine how you will feel about it after you've answered the phone, "Just for U Home Decoration, how can I help you?" like a thousand times. Does that answer your question? When you come up with a new name, think about that. If it passes that test, you've probably got a keeper.
