Q: Halloween crafts?
Does anyone have any good ideas for Halloween crafts for my 11 year old daughter and I?
A: I always bake the pumpkin seeds left over from carving pumpkins. Just clean them of the orange goo, coat them with a bit of oil and salt and put them on a baking tray at 350 until lightly toasted. (About 5-10 minutes.)
And when I used to live in a house instead of an apartment, I would stuff an old shirt and pants with straw to make a scarecrow, with a pumpkin for the head.

I babysit a five year old boy and a two year old girl. I've been wanting to do something with them for halloween, like, crafts, baking cookies, anything cute, fun, and easy having to do with halloween.

Q: What font is the one used often for Halloween crafts? It has curls on the ends?
I want to make my own Halloween crafts where you paint words like Boo etc onto pumpkins etc.. there is one font I see alot for Halloween that has "curly cues" or something on the ends. I haven't found it yet on my computer.
It is curlz! Now, I have found a .zip file and unzipped it, but how do I get that font to where Word etc will use it???

Q: Any creative ideas on fall/halloween crafts to do at home with a 2 and 4 year old?
I am a stay at home mom and I was wondering if anybody had quick and creative craft ideas to do for fall/halloween. I have a messy two year old and a four old who loves to be creative on her own terms. Thanks for your ideas :)
A: make a big tree out of construction paper and then have them make leaves with their handprints (you can even do it like a calender and have them put up the leaves as the days go, numbering the leaves as you go along).
sticker art, little ones love stickers - though the 2 year old may still be a little young.
make cookies and have them decorate them - you can usually find really neat halloween jimmies at the grocery store or michaels/joann's.
cut out 2 big paper pumpkins and give them some black (washable of course) paint to make faces (the 2 year old will probably not make a face, but will have a good time playing with the paint)... you could do witches or monsters too

Q: fun Halloween crafts or activities to do with 3 young girls?
ok so i'm babysitting today and its supposed to rain. what are some cheap halloween activities or crafts we could do? they're 3 girls aged 6, 9, and 10. so they can handle using scissors and coloring and all that. it could even be baking or making some type of cute food item. if you have specific ideas for things you do or even a website that you've used it would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

You could make pumpkin pins out of Fun Foam. Use wiggly eyes and shapes for
the mouth and nose. They sell peel and stick pin backs. I would use Tacky Glue
just to make sure the pin backs stay.
Q: What are some good halloween crafts ideas for community's Halloween Carnival without spending too much money?
I am in charge of the Crafts Committee for a carnival we are having through our school and I can't seem to come up with some good crafts ideas that I can buy the supplies without spending too much money....
Any ideas? Crafts are for elementary school kids up to little toddlers and the number of kids that will be there will probably be up to 100.

A: Make little ghosts out of paper towels and string ( around the neck of the ghost). Use M& M's or raisins for the eyes. Then let her hang these in the bushes or in the trees.

A: Take a tissue, roll it in a ball, take another tissue,put the balled up tissue in the center, now pull the four corners up and tie a string around closest to the ball, hold by the string. Now you have a ghost.

I have already cut pumkins out and made napkin ghosts, and spiderman gloves out of latex gloves. he's loved them all and I have to find a few more things to entertain him.
A: get some construction paper, orange , yellow, black, green , brown.
have him trace and cut out a pumpkin out of orange, then use the black or yellow for the jack o lantern design, and the green or brown for the stem. - you probably will need to help him cut thease things out, but now he can make severall paper pumpkins.... also you can make cut out and pasted together frenkenstine with thease same colors

A: dum dum ghosts (this takes about 3 minutes)

*what you will need
A package of dum dum suckers
square strips of white cloth
Mini googly eyes
string
__________________________
To do this, get your dum dum sucker and drape the little white cloth over it. twist the sheet where the sucker ends. Tie the string to keep it in place. Glue the googly eyes on the head. It should look like a ghost :)
