Q: I know that it is a little early, but what colors do you think I should use for my white Christmas tree?
I have a white Christmas tree, and every year I have a different combination of colors on my tree. Since I've had it, we've had blue and silver...purple and silver....red, gold and red, silver.....candy cane.....silver and gold. This year, I want something different. I did see a section of black and silver decoration. What do you guys think?
A: If you really want a look that's different from your usual, go rustic. White trees and white twinkle lights make a great background to natural, more primitive wooden ornaments--and they're usually quick and inexpensive to make if your a little resourceful. Dress up pine cones with red and gold plaid ribbon and a sprinkling of iridescent glitter. Drape on a string a garland of red wooden beads or make a garland out of cranberries. If you're not naturally crafty, some department stores carry ornaments made of wood strips and formed trigs or branches. (I saw some at K-Mart last year--part of their Martha Stewart collection.) You can purchase springs of artificial berries which make nice fillers for the empty spots between ornaments. Also look at the displays in your neighborhood department store for other decor ideas.
Good luck!
Q: What's a pretty decoration scheme for a white Christmas tree?

Q: How can I clean an artificial white christmas tree.?
Stupidly I didn't pack my tree in plastic bags before returning it to it's original box. It has been packed away for about 3 years in the shed and has got dusty, which has turned it an "OFF WHITE" colour now.
A: I clean mine up in the summer. Go outside, spray some mild dish soap on it then just hose it off. You may need to scrub some of the branches but if you have a sprayer on your hose, it should clean up easily. If you want to stay environmentally safe, use white vinegar.
Q: If anyone had a choice between a green Christmas tree and a white Christmas tree which one would you want?
I prefer green because it's the traditional Christmas tree and plus it looks great with all my nutcracker type decorations.
The Christmas tree Charlie Brown had in Charlie Brown's Christmas was the most sentimental.
A: Green
Q: How do you decorate a 7 foot WHITE christmas tree?
I need some ideas to make it look pretty.
My walls are white also, so it can't blend in with the wall.
A: Color Wheels will cost you more this time of year because of supply and demand. you should pick one color and get lights, bulbs, beads and what ever else you want on your tree in that color.
Q: I just pulled my beautiful white Christmas tree out and it is yellowed!?
I have tried to clean it with a bleach solution but that is not working. Any suggestions, because I am lost! This is the first of 4 trees that I am putting up for the season and it is the kids favorite, so if you have some ideas on how to clean this tree, I would be ever so happy!!!
I only tried the bleach solution on one branch so there may be hope for the tree!
A: Ouch! Bleach used on synthetic materials is often more likely to yellow than to whiten. This may be difficult to recover at this point.
Here are two options that are most likely to recover your tree. Both will require a VERY sunny day. First try white vinegar. Pour vinegar in a spray bottle and coat the tree very well. Leave in the sun all day to dry and "naturally bleach". If vinegar doesn't remove the yellow then you must bring out the "big gun".
In your discount store detergent aisle, find the tiny display of RIT dye. They make a product called White Wash. There are directions on the package for mixing it with hot water. Make it twice as strong as the directions state, and again pour in a spray bottle and soak the tree, leaving it in the sun to dry. This product is specifically designed to remove yellowing from non bleachable whites so if it doesn't work you are left with two other options...
You can either spray paint the tree, or coat it with spray flocking (which can be a little messy, but is very white)
Good Luck!!
Q: white fake christmas tree?
I just opened the box to my white fake christmas tree and theres no trunk!does anybody know if hardware stores or any other store would carry a replacement trunk?or do i have to buy a whole new tree?
A: If you just bought it,take it back and get another.I don't belive there are any replacement trunks.Um you may be able to rig somthing with some 2X4's and cover it with a tree skirt.Good LUCK!

Q: When does the President show the White House Christmas tree on TV?
When is it on? Or did I miss it already?

Q: What theme will Michelle choose for the White House Christmas tree in 2009?
Laura Bush chose red, white and blue as the theme this year, and she chose national parks last year. Somehow, themes like those don't seem like Michelle's style. What do you think she will choose?
Regina, I looked for a source for your statements about the Clintons' Christmas tree, and I found several. You are absolutely correct. Here is one link I found. Thank you for telling me about it.

A: Using the word "style" in the same sentence with "Michelle" is an oxymoron of the highest degree, but whatever she decides to do about Christmas 2009 will be touted by the media as the most innovative and breath taking ever. Of course most of us will be tossing up our dinner, but the cult will come together in celebration of the true meaning of whatever it is and whatever she wants to call it.
Q: what are the best colors to wear for christmas pictures in front of a white christmas tree?
A: well, red will do great because it goes well both with the tree and the holiday! but you can also try navy and yellow if you think every one else will wear red and green...!(personally i hate to dress just like everyone else...! )
