The task was to make an ornament that represented a Biblical character. I was assigned Jesus. When I came in the following week to decorate the tree with the class, I was lectured for being a smartazz.
I said, "What, wasn't Jesus a carpenter? I don't see the problem here?"
(True story)

Q: christmas tree ornament project?
I am looking for a project for my daughters and I to do together for our christmas tree. I did this project when I was in 4th grade, but that was many moons ago and I have forgotten exactly how it is done. It required painting a mini clay pot white, adding a decoration from napkins, sprinkling with glitter, and adding a bead inside for the bell. Does anyone know how to do this project? Thanxs in advance to all that can help!
A: Here is a slight variation (scroll down almost to the bottom to "Fun Clay Pots")

Q: what does the Christmas tree represents and the ornaments in brazil?
this is for an asignment for school
A: The Christmas tree originated in central/northern Europe during the Middle Ages and was originally decorated with fruit and nuts. It is thought originally to have represented the tree in the Garden of Eden - Christmas Eve used to be celebrated as the feast of Adam and Eve, that's why it had fruit on it. It formed the backdrop to a play which traced bible history from Adam and Eve to the birth of Christ, the new Adam. The fruit and nuts were then given to children.
The plays were suppressed during the Protestant reformation but towns guilds kept the tree custom going. Later, people added candles (later still lights) to the trees, replaced the fruit with glass baubles and the nuts with sweets and the like.
Most people have forgotten about Adam and Eve and the tree now simply represents Christmas. Christians may now think of the lights as representing the light of Christ and the decorations his gifts to us, but that's quite a modern idea.

Q: What would be a truly disgusting Christmas Tree ornament?
A run over squirrel?
A: used condoms
Q: Did you ever decorate your Christmas tree with anything besides regular ornaments?
Like, jewelry, maybe?
A: Not me, but my wife wrote a newspaper story about a senior citizen who decorates her tree with family "treasures" - a short chain at the top of the tree, punctuated at either end by mother-of-pearl discs, which once held her Grandpa¹s celluloid collar together. There are also shirt studs, a century-old dress brooch, one of her grandmother's earrings, and other old jewelry which has a special meaning for her.
This lady is 92 years old and living alone ... with her memories.
Q: Can you help me out with the basics of making dough ornaments for my Christmas tree?
A: Dough Ornaments
Another classic Christmas ornament craft is anything made out of dough. It's easy to make a whole bunch of salt dough and use cookie cutters to make basic shapes for ornaments.
You can find all sorts of recipes on the Internet, but the basic recipe is four cups of flour, one cup of salt and about one and a half cups of hot water (more or less depending on the consistency you get when you mix everything together).
Once the dough is formed to the consistency of cookie dough, roll it out and use cookie cutters to shape. Microwave for about two minutes or bake in a 100 degree oven for two or three hours, until the ornaments are dry and hard.
These ornaments can then be decorated with paint and glitter. If you want to do this for a party, you might cut and bake the ornaments in advance and have them ready for people to decorate, or make up some dough at the party but also have some ready-made ornaments so people can decorate ornaments and take some of the dough home to make more
