Q: I'm looking for someplace to order white/clear Christmas bubble lights. Harder to find than I thought!!?
You can buy the red/yellow, multicolor bubble lights for Christmas everywhere it seems. However, my sister in law had some clear/white ones that were beautiful on her tree this year. She said she got them years and years ago and didn't even know if she could still get them anymore. I've been looking but only found one place and they were sold out.

Q: I have 12volt miniature Christmas lights that come in white only,I wish to color them .?
I wish to color these lights without compromising the integrity or brightness of the light by just simply painting them,wish could cause bulb to blow due to inability to cool itself these lights only come in white,so I cannot simply go buy colored ones,so I would like to know how to color them without compromising the integrity of the bulb.

A: go buy some coloured bulbs to replace the plain ones with.

Q: Where can i find these christmas lights?
Yesterday i seen these christmas lights that someone had up outside(the icicle lights you hang from the top of your house) that slowly blinked from colored lights to white lights, does anyone know where i could find these, like what store. I live in Massachusetts.

A: you can get them at target, walmart, kmart, walgreen and stores like that

I like the colorful lights better. What about you?

A: I like them both. Depending where they are going. I love the mix on the tree--but to lighten up the inside of the house--I might use some white ones in a couple of spots. (or even all red ones in spots) Good question.

A: Judging by what I see around here, colored lights seem to be the clear favorite. As far as a topper - it appears to be just about a 50/50 split between angels and stars, with the occasional teddy bear, dove, or other topper.

Q: Christmas lights are you putting any up this year?
I have great looking faux pine swags with real pine cones, huge velvet bows and lots of small white light that I usually hang on our house every Christmas. Since last year I've decided not to put them up because it is a waste of electricity and just adds to global warming. They burn the coal to get the electricity, etc. Is any one else cutting back on Christmas lights? Congrats on your first Christmas together. I'm sure it will be memorable.

A: Its a holiday celebration at our house (I'm Catholic and my husband is Jewish). So we agreed on only white lights for the outside of the house and the tree inside. Nothing out of this world... just some stars from the tree on the corner of our property, a small man for our front porch, and lights in our holly bushes. We have enough of an eye swore next door with six blow ups, two or three different kinds or lights, and a giant snow globe... I swear you can see it from three streets away...

A: colored. We have our whole house done in colored lights, our porch, around our whole house and we have so many decerations outside. I had this reindeer thing and it stood five feet tall and it was so windy one day and it blowed behind my fiance's truck and he ran over it.. lmfao. We have two christmas trees in house done in colored lights. i have a real tree in my living room and my son has a 7 foot fake tree in his room, because i only used it once, cause i like real trees and we put it in his room every year... they only clear lights i have up is around this pine garland that looks real and it goes around my door.. that is so pretty with clear lights.

Q: i have a grapevine wrapped around wire angel. I want to put white lights on it for christmas. but not sure how
should i put on wings and halo only or all over? and how would i attach ? should i put them on top of the grapevine or should i put them from the inside out? thanks ahead of time for your sujestions. the angel is about 20 inches tall

A: I would cover the entire angel. Get a spool of thin wire in the jewelry dept. of any large craft store.Attach the wire to the grapevine, lay the light string next to the grapevine and wind the wire over the lights, and around the vine. don't break the wire. Continue winding the spool wire over the vines, attaching the lights in place.It is much easier to wind the spool wire over the vines, than it is to twist the light set over and around the vines. Remember to start at the top and work your way downwards so your plug is at the bottom.

Q: Is it just me... or does this happen to everyone around Christmas lights...?
Every time I go near bright white Christmas lights, my eyes blur up around it. It's really weird. This is probably a stupid question, because I'm sure this happens to everyone....... but, just for curiousity..... Does this happen to you? Does your vision blur up while looking closely at white christmas lights?

A: yes..and i wear glasses,,thought it was just me,,they just look so blurry,,

Q: Decorate with white or colored lights for Christmas?
I prefer white, but my children want color.

A: I like the colored lights. I think that Christmas is the time of year when everyone should have lights and have lots of love and fun and yes I said "CHRISTmas" sorry for those you have gotten offended but as long as I am here I will still believe. So put up lots of colored lights and add a few white ones with it make sure everyone can see you are in ready from Christmas.

A: Coloured for sure! White lights are very classy, and don't get me wrong, I'm a classy girl! But, when it comes to my Christmas tree, I love for it to be colourful with lovely ornaments that fill every branch! I Love Christmas!
