Q: making a led light show out of fuze bottles?
i really like the fuze refresh drinks. peach mango to be specific. i want to make these bottles light up. ive tried christmas lights and they get REAL hot. they actualy melt the outer plastic
i want to use led lights. i know they are cool and dont burn out easily or often. they also use less energy. perfect solution
i dont know what kind of led bulb would have similar brightness to christmas lights and where to get them
second of all i think it would be need to have them flashing. ive seen these big glass block centerpieces that change colors, i want to do something like that. is there a circuit board diagram i can use and buy the parts to make the bulbs flash like crazy.
i would really like to hook them up to a computer and somehow have colors blink with the music i have playing. That would be awesome. can i do that for a somewhat affordable price.. less than about 30 bucks.. i could do programming if i had to.

A: There are led light strings you can buy that are powered by your usb port on your computer. Search usb led's in yahoo shopping or e-bay. You could also use led christmas lights but they don't flash. You can get led light strings in multicolor or single color and many different bulb sizes.

A: There are many options for this. Some are expensive, another is not.
LESS EXPENSIVE AND LOW TECH:
The GE Lights and Sounds of Christmas (found at Walmart, Lowes, Sears, ...) sells for about $100. It gives you 6 individual circuits that control up to 1440 watts of preselected music and the lights are preprogrammed. It is essentially a plug and play.

MORE EXPENSIVE:
There are three major manufacturers of hardware/software that allows you to program your lights via computer.
You pick a song, break it down into small segments of time (like 0.10 second segments) and tell each individual circuit of lights to turn on, off, fade, twinkle or shimmer.

D-Lights is the least expensive of the three, but you have to have the ability to assemble your own equipment.
LOR is the preferred vendor for residential displays. It is a complex software that takes you about 4 hours per minute of song for 32-48 channels to program. A channel is an individual circuit of lights that you choose to control.
Animated Lighting is the most expensive, yet it is easier to program. Their equipment is what is found on some residential displays and most commercial displays.

Q: How to turn on Sony Vaio LED "light show"?
I just got my cool sony vaio laptop computer for Christmas--and on the website it says that the LED lights light up while you watch videos and listen to music-and lights up when you just do random stuff. i have tried everything but how do i turn on or activate the lights?? thanks!
A: i had this same question when i got mine.
all u have to do is go to the vaio jukebox program
import any songs you have
and walla light show.
Note: if u also have itunes installed it will erase your songs on
it.it will keep it in your music folder but not in the library.

Q: Christmas Song from Coors Light Commericial?
I keep seeing this commericial, mainly during football games. It's a coors light commericial I think. It shows a house at night with Christmas lights, the lights change and theres a christmas sounding song playing. It's fast and kinda heavy and the lights are in sync with the song. A: Are you talking about the snowflake show on Saxs Fifth Avenue? The only way to get the music is go through Saxs directly. They may be selling the CD, but your best bet would be to check online, call them, or visit the NYC store.

A: It depends on which kind of Christmas lights you are talking about. The larger ones that screw in are 120 Volts. The miniature lights, that all go out when you pull one out, are low voltage. What the voltage is depends on how many lights are in a strand. For example, a strand of 100 lights will have lamps that are 120/100 or 1.2 Volts. A strand of 50 lights will be 120/50 or 2.4 Volts.

Q: How do you fix the lights in the car's dash board when it flashes like Christmas trees non stop.?
I have a dodge minivan and when i turn on the car, the lights in the dashboard that shows the speed limit and everything else flashes like christmas lights. It is very disturbing while driving because it flashes and never stops. I want to know what the problem is and if I can fix it. I took it to the dealer but they want to charge over $1000 thats ridicoulous.

Another idea is a brunch. Brunch food is easy to make, can often be made the day before, and you can serve orange juice and champagne.
