Q: how do i make a lesson plan about making a christmas card?
Made christmas cards with y3 children 7/8 years need to write a lesson plan for a course I am doing, don't know where to start.
A: Put your Lesson plan under headings (which presumably should have been given to you on your course).
You need:-
Date and time/duration of lesson.
Class to be used with, age, ability, number of girls/boys/total.
List of any with Statements or other special needs.
Educational Aims (Such as what you want the children to learn and include safety factors), Educational Objectives (What should be achieved. These should be assessable to see if you achieved them)
Assessment method & how this relates to the school policy for assessment
List of any visual aid you will need to use & when
List of materials and equipmentneeded.
Risk Assessment for use of glue, scisssors, paint, glitter etc (don't forget paper cuts!) and how you will avoid accidents and respond to them if they occur.
Now the lesson:-
Timed sections of what you intend to say, how any demonstrations split up through the lesson and of course what you expect the children to do at various times during the lesson.
Space for your Evaluation of how well the lesson went, was it suitable for the age and ability of the children, did they learn waht you wanted them to and what you would do differently next time were you to repeat the lesson.
Is it any wonder there are so many teachers leaving the profession (including me) The paperwork usually took 2 to 3 times as long as the lessons.
Q: How do i make a singing Christmas card with little to no skills and still have it be decent (not store bought)?
I have a really small amount of skill, and i need to make a really great card by Christmas eve. I am not too worried about cost, but i don't want it to cost a fortune. Please help me, I really need it.
A: Well, I would buy a little electronic music box (typically under a dollar at most craft stores) and work the bulkiness into my card design.
For example:
a puffy white pompom on the tip of santa's hat.
a red pompom for Rudolph's nose
a snowflake
a star atop the christmas tree
Q: I what to make home made Christmas cards?
do you have any Ideas.
or websites that have templates or Ideas?
thanks
A: DON'T USE GLITTER!
it's tacky, it'll get on everything and never fully go away - five years from now they'll still be picking glitter from the carpet and think of you while doing so...
other than that, have fun! :D

Q: Can anybody explain how i can make the music that some christmas cards have, except i want to do it on a door?
So there are some Holiday cards, and i was wondering if any one knew how to make that possible on a door, and i dont want it 2 be that expensive.
I was thinking somewhere along the lines of using a tweeter as the speeker, but what will it bw connected to
A: Just find a christmas card with the music you like take out the little electronic device that make the sounds hook it up to your door except it has to be put on near the hinge and follow the wire that goes to the little speaker and T it into doorbell speaker.
Q: Where can I send used Christmas cards?
I know some organizations have uses for the front of Christmas cards but I am not sure where. I have plenty to send if I could just find an address.
A: Call your local nursing homes. Sometimes they want them for their residents to look at.
Q: I want to send Christmas cards to injured jockeys?
I would like to send them some cheer this holiday season so maybe it will take their mind off their injuries. But I have 2 questions:
1) where do I send them
2) who's injured, I haven't seen a horse race since the Breeder's Cup so I have no idea if any body got hurt.
I wonder if I can send Christmas cards to injured horses?
A: The organization responsible for the care of injured/disabled riders would be the Jockeys Guild. You can access their website at www.jockeysguild.com. Shevawn Moore, an administrative assistant, at the Jockeys Guild, is the person you will need to contact relative to the names and addresses of injured/disabled jockeys. Her email address is: smoore@jockeysguild.com. Thanks for your concern!
Q: What is the episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where they fight about the Christmas cards?
i want to see if it's anywhere online, but i don't know what the episode is called
in the episode people send Raymond's family Christmas cards that brag about themselves
A: I think its called Seasons Greetings!!
When Marie receives a letter from a relative detailing how wonderful her life is and how well her kids are doing, it drives Marie insane with jealousy. She enlists Debra's help in writing a Barone "family update," but despite efforts to make everyone sound successful, the letter makes them all feel inadequate about what they have done – or not done.
It's Season 6, Ep 12
Q: When is the optimal time to post christmas cards?
I am in charge of the posting of the office christmas cards. When is the right time to post. I dont want to be too early and definately dont want to be late.
A: December 1st. Put up the tree, ;put up the decorations, and POST the cards.
Q: What can i do in my christmas cards?
Well now christmas is comming i love to make ppls smile and have a laugh looking at my cards but i need to write something in it, or do something to it to make it really special because it's our last year in high school. I am decorating it with christmas trees and lots of colours and I'm giving them sweets inside the envelope too but if there are any more ideas can you please tell me?
Thank you.
A: You can add a little note reminding them of some funny time you shared. You can add a photo of something silly you all did together.
Q: Where i will get the high resolution images of the christmas and new year cards?
Please let me know that where i will get the high resoulution images of new year and christmas cards
A: You can always use photoimpact 12 free trial version and make them yourself.
They save up to a 600DPI and the res. is sweet since you can make them at what ever res you want.
Q: Why do people think others want to see them on the front of Christmas cards?
Now that it's so easy to get photos into card form, why do people seem to think that it is so cute to put their "beautiful" children/pets/etc. on the front of the cards? Does anyone else find this "pat myself on the back" gesture nauseating? It's almost as annoying as the Christmas newsletter!
A: I agree somewhat. I think it's a way to avoid having to send updated photos of everyone. Just put the photo on a Christmas card and save time.
But I do hate those Christmas newsletters. At least personalize them a little.
Q: Is it too soon to start giving Christmas cards in the office? It is still 14 days to Christmas?
Today is Dec/10 and I already have ready the Christmas cards for the people who I really like, I also bought a small Christmas tree decoration for each one of them. I wonder if it is too soon to deliver the cards?
A: I think it's perfect timing. I love when people give me a card early because I always forget to get someone a card and that reminds me. lol
Q: Should the contractor or the company pay for Christmas Cards for clients?
Contractor sells products on behalf of company. If the contractor is the one who needs to pay for the Christmas cards, then is the contractor obligated to include the company's name in the card?
I am very impressed as to the thought that went into answering this question so far. Each answer shows unique insight and experience, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
A: This is a Customer issue and should be handled by the Salesman or Company. Whoever sold the job should handle that and the Companies normally reimburse the Salesman for Customer Gifts if not you can certainly deduct the cost of Christmas Cards, and Client Gifts from your taxes. The Contractor should include the name of the Company as a measure of thanking the Customer for their business. It is also ediquette to use Season's Greetings or Happy Holidays Type cards as opposed to traditional cards for Business so as not to offend those customers that are not Christians.
Q: do you make or buy your own christmas cards?
i make all my cards,
A: I make my christmas gifts and call everyone I know it sounds cheap but making takes time and effort and I love actual communication.
