Q: Dear Friends, from which sites I could send free online Greeting cards for Christmas and New year.?
Please suggest some good sites from where I could post good online free greeting cards to my friends with lot of animations. Happy Christmas and New year to all

A: 123greetings.com is the best.

Q: I received a Christmas greeting card, under senders' name, it is written "xyy" (or"xxx"),
What does this mean? For example: Dear Bob, Happy Christmas! Mary and Ray xyy. I remembered in other cards, some are like "xxyy" or "xoxoxo", does anybody know the answer.

A: Maybe it was sent to you from Kyle XY :)

Q: Do You Recycle Your Used Christmas Cards?
I do! What I do is I take a used christmas card and I neatly tear and/or trim the card front (the one with the picture on it). I turn the card front over where it's blank and i draw a divided line. on the right side would be my return address and the recipients address and on the left side would be my christmas greeting. Viola! It becomes a postcard and I don't need to make an envelope for it. However, it's the same postage rate as a regular letter. I also do not need to buy anymore christmas cards for the rest of my life since I placed an ad on craigslist for used christmas cards and I became overwhelmed with responses from people who do not mind donating their used greeting cards 4 free. What do u do with yours? Feel free to apply my idea by the way.

A: I reuse mine the following year as gift tags. By trimming the designs I usually get several from each card. I haven't had to buy gift tags for several years.

Q: what is best web site to purchase christmas return address labels for greeting cards?

A: We have always used http://www.affordableaddresslabels.com for our christmas address labels, they have a few cute designs and you can use 4-5 lines of text and we usually do line1: happy holidays line2: family name line3: street address line4: city state zip they also ship them pretty fastthen its a matter of sticking them to the envelopes of your greeting cards.

Q: what do you do with greeting cards?
I am battling with clutter. I keep finding old birthday, Christmas, wedding, etc cards. I would like to save them for memories but is it really worth it? What do u do with old greeting cards?

A: i have then stored away like you do. Some people would say throw them away, but when you read them they bring back fond memories, which are priceless....perhaps some day you would sort them out, it is a personal choice really

Q: If you had to write a Christmas greeting no more than ten words in length that would ?
be printed on 100,000 Christmas cards, what would it be?

A: " Merry Christmas and Peace On Earth"

Q: How common is this for a Christmas greeting?
My friend sent me a Christmas card with two of her children all dressed up, but one is sitting on the other one and making her cry. Oh, and there is a third child, but it's not born yet.....so there's just a little black and white picture of the third child swimming around in baby sauce.

A: Parents feel the need to share their suffering with the world. Maybe Ompelle will send you one with a 50 foot baby pyramid on the front. On water skis and going over a stunt ramp. The babies will be wearing helmets decorated with fire balls. I think the overall effect is a pleasing one.

Q: Why can you find greeting cards that combine Christmas/Hannukah, but not Easter/Passover?
Cinnamon: look in the Hallmark stores. You will find them there. Here's another: http://www.curiosities.com/sp/cd534.asp Hey, I'm serious. I live in NYC. In the Hallmark stores and other places in December you can find cards that combine Christmas and Hannukah greetings, yet in the early spring you can't find cards that give both Easter and Passover greetings.

A: I've never seen any that combine Christmas and Hanukkah.

Q: Is there a way to sign a premade greeting card on a computer and print only the signature?
I am trying to get a signature only on a premade greeting card (christmas cards). I have a lot of cards to send out and hate the thoughts of signing each one by hand. Is there any way to do this without it printing the pre-printed text as well?

A: I suggest using a scanner, or buying one first. Write your signature regularly on a piece of paper and scan it. Use a getting card creator and make your card and affix the signature at the bottom ( it is considered a jpeg). Print out x # of cards. If you want them slightly unique do this over and over with different cards. If you want every card different, lemme know, cuz that would take as long, or longer than pen and paper on store bought cards. You could also probably order a signature stamp, but do not, I repeat, ever ever lose it.

Q: Simple christmas card greeting idea?
nothing too cheesey or religious.

A: money's short, times are hard, here's your stinking christmas card. Edit....you mean I'm the ONLY one to answer this one? Where are you people???

Q: Recommendations on creating greeting cards from digital photos?
About once a year at this time, we snap a few photos of our kids and put them into a walmart.com greeting card generator. It shows a scene, a few photos, and some text saying "Merry Christmas!". The choices for these cards are usually poor, and I'd really like to design my own (the easy way, using existing images, etc.) What software is out there that will allow me to do this. Preferably I'd like something freely available like The Gimp Thanks!

A: I make mine in Photoshop. Any image program which allows you to make a blank template should work. You simply size the template to the size of your cart and start designing. The carts you can find in any home office supply store.
