Q: Which is a good website for African American Christian Christmas cards, please? Merry Christmas, Kike?
I've tried True Expressions at tecards.com but they appear to have only one card, an angel blowing a trumpet. I'd like more choice!
A: http://www.dayspring.com/ecards/
wishing you a very blessed christmas and a very happy new year.
Q: How many people do you think would get upset at a Christian sending out Hanukka cards insted of Christmas?
As for me and my house we will serve the Lord. We are Christian and have looked into what everything means as part of the celebration of Christmas.
1. Jesus was not born on December 25th. The shepherds would not have been out in the fields' at that time of year because it would have been too cold.
2. The tree, the evergreen, & santa all have pagan roots.
So this year we are switching over to the original Jewish holidays and festvals. Not because we want to be Jewish but because the Bible states that we have been grafted into the vine. The Jews being the vine and the gentiles being gratfed in by the blood of Jesus.
A: I wouldn't be at all offended at all, personally. As a matter of fact; I do agree with you! I am inclined to believe that Yahshua
(Hebrew for Jesus) was born about this time of the year, the month of tishri (I think) he may have been born.
I'll tell you who was born on December 25;
1. Nimrod. (Babylonian sun god)
2. Ra. (Egyptian sun god)
3. Tamuz. (I think the sun god of baal worship)
Do you see what I'm getting at?
A big thanks to the roman catholic church for trying cover up
the paganism by declaring the birthday of Yahweh (LORD in
hebrew, I think) is on December 25th.
Add to the fact that Christmas is too over commercialized. I
mean some stores already have their Christmas stuff out! And Holloween hasn't even gotten here yet! What's wrong with that picture?!!
Check out my sources.
Q: I need a good christian gift idea to send out with my Christmas cards?
I want it to be special and cost effective and I don't mind getting a little creative?! : )
It could be something cute though too! I'm open for ideas! : )
A: Hiya, for cool presents for some of my christian friends I often go onto the Oxfam website and donate money to projects that I feel they have an affinity with. Eg: some of them are teachers so Oxfam have teachers packs. One friend even got a llama last year (money to buy a llama for a village - the logistics and ethics of actually wrapping a live one are unthinkable). Pretty cool. Hope it helps.

Q: Found this on another site. Send Christmas Cards to ACLU. Interesting.?
Yes, Christmas cards. This is coming early so that you can get ready to include an important address to your list.
Wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD this year.
As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice CHRISTIAN card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world.
Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.
Here's the address, just don't be rude or crude. (It's not the Christian Way , you know.)
ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York , NY 10004
Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. So spend 41 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a "Holiday Tree". . . It's always been called a
CHRISTMAS TREE!
And pass this on to your email lists. We really want to communicate with the ACLU! They really DESERVE us!!
For those of you who aren't aware of them, the ACLU, (the American Civil Liberties Union) is the one suing the U.S. Government to take God, Christmas or anything Christian away from us. They represent the atheists and others in this war. Help put Christ back in Christmas!
A: "just don't be rude or crude. (It's not the Christian Way , you know.)"
So being intentionally annoying and trying to screw with people is?
Q: bible verses on christmas cards?
what are some good verses that i could put on my home made christmas cards?
christian
A: Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Q: Is it okay for me to send a Christmas card to my Christian friend?
Even if I am not a Christian?
A: sure you dont have to be a christian to send a card
Q: Is it okay for me to mail a Christmas card to my Christian friend? She just lost her dad.?
My friend's father past away about a month ago and I want to give her a card for Christmas. But, since this is going to be her first Christmas without her dad, I don't know if it is appropriate or not. Should I or should I not?
A: Absolutely, it would be a very loving gesture from you. Simply put a message in there that you are aware of her loss for this Holiday season and you are wishing her well, keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.. Encouraging her to keep him alive in her memories... God bless****

Hey Steve, I looked up the address right from the ACLU themselves !!!!!
Oh, it's ligit alright. Just google search it.
A: I love this idea. I don't care if it shuts down their operations or not. I just like the idea of sending them a Christmas card. I'm not really sure they are worth .39.
*** To Lucia: Because it is CHRISTMAS. The holiday has a name and it is CHRISTMAS. It is not only a tradition, it is a celebration of our Saviors birth, that is the entire reason for the holiday. Geesh, political correctness will be the death of this country!

Hate to brake it to you Blue (Good name as non-Christians are so blue) but the ACLU is sueing over the NATIVITY scene.
BTW, it's Christian, OH and BTW again, they're going to the supreme court. Watch the news sometime and it's on all the news, not just FOX news (the best news in the country) and expanding to other countries. Wow! The highest rated news broadcast in the United States! God Bless America! Please educate yourself by tomorrow!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas!
A: Oh: Great idea !!! Can you just imagine when outfits like the ACLU get rid of Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Sundays etc. and thereby, turn them into regular working days since Christian practices are banned ? !!!
Q: People who send Christmas cards but had no time for you all year?
Don't you hate getting a Christmas card from someone who couldn't make any time to do things or even call you at all during the whole year?
* It is like a little reminder that you are "on the back burner". I don't send cards or gifts to people who have been out of touch the other 364 days of the year. People have time for those who are important to them. My family is going to have a personal Christian Christmas filled with those who DO care about us. We have fresh juice and french toast, open presents, go to church, take a scenic drive together, eat dinner, watch sports and movies.
* It is not that my friends are very busy or overworked. I live in a small town and the women don't have office jobs or children at home. We all have plenty of time.
I refer to people who refuse invitations and don't even return phone calls. Friend definition: -- does not match that kind of behavior, or lack of interest.

Nora- that is the most sensible and concise comment I have read today!
A: Yeah I do understand that I think all families have some of those.I do send cards to those I don't see often but that list has gotten real short. They are family just not in the same state, which makes visiting harder.Mostly I send them just because it is the season.I never thought of it any other way.Your question is interesting in that you made me think about it.Merry Christmas!
Q: Would you like a excellent Christmas gift that you can share with your friends?
Send them a Christmas Card! It is time to get out your CHRISTMAS cards list! A: The ACLU, along with most rational people, encourages the celebration of all holidays, including Christmas.
Surely you don't mean that every single person in the country celebrates Christmas, do you? Wouldn't that be narrow-minded and oblivious to others?
So therefore what you are suggesting is harassment, since you are doing it to intentionally hamper a business. It would be similar to a hacker triggering a "denial of service" attack.
Instead, why not embody the TRUE spirit of Christmas, and do GOOD things for other people instead of mean and spiteful things? In this way you will be less hypocritical.
Q: Should I send cards even though I'm Christian?
I'd like to send seasonal cards on behalf of my husband's small business. He has quite a few Jewish clients and associates that he does business with. In my background and tradition it is polite to issue a Christmas card, or a holiday card which says Season's Greetings.
Should I send Chanukah cards to the Jewish clients? Would that be appreciated? Or should I just send "holiday" cards and leave it at that? Or should I send nothing at all?
A: Chanukkah cards would be very much appreciated.
It would show your Jewish customers that you were thinking of them.
A holiday card, on the other hand, is rather generic.
This is why a Chanukkah card would make a great impression!!
Have a Merry Christmas, and thank you for sharing:)
